He graduates as an Actor in 1990 at the Theatre School in Bologna directed by Alessandra Galante Garrone, specializing in the work of “the neutral and expressive mask” method by Jaques Lecoq.
Soon after his graduation, he starts to work in various theater companies acting in the classical repertoire, Moliere, Goldoni, Shakespeare.
After few years, developing his passion for singing, wins an audition with the major Italian musical production company, “Peeparrow entertainment”, starring leading roles in My Fair Lady, Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy and Evita.
But it’s the encounter with M. Claudio Desideri with whom he starts to study Mozart and Rossini repertoire and he interprets his first light lyric tenor roles as Idreno, Conte d’Almaviva, Don Ottaviano, Basilio, Ferrando, Tamino in many productions.
He is also in “Così fan tutte”, in the historical Opera setting of “Piccolo Teatro di Milano”, under the direction of Giorgio Strehler.
He refines the study of opera singing with M. Claude Thiolas, with whom he starts to change his repertoire, moving to lyrical tenor roles, bringing his career at international level: La Traviata (Nuremberg and Dijon), Boheme (Dublin), Falstaff (Grange Park), Lucia di Lammermoor, Elisir d’amore (Amsterdam), Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem (Eindhoven e Poznan), Giovanna D’Arco (Poznan), Die Zaberflöte (Parigi Opera Massy), Le Contes D’ Hoffmann (Dijon), Rigoletto (Maastricht). In Francia worked around ten years in various productions in Nizza, Montpellier, Toulouse, Festival Saint Cere, ecc
In late 2018 M° A. Pappano has chosen him as Action in West Side Story for Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome Concerto version.
Future commitments will take him in July 19 to Salzburg Festival for Adriana Lecouvreur.
